The 2007 Bioenergy Summer Interns conducted a waste audit on the University of Florida campus. They collected the biodegradable plates, cups, and forks as well as the thrown-away food from the ‘Krishna Lunch’ served at the University of Florida to study the suitability of the plates for composting and the food scraps for anaerobic digestion into biogas. This video describes the composting of the plates and utensils. Bioenergy School Website: biogas.ifas.ufl.edu UF Biogas Website: biogas.ifas.ufl.edu
