It was 4 feet 69 (the cucumber, not the hog), and was like a child for us. We pinned all our hopes in its wining.
petition on killing the hog
Personally I’d be dining on porkchops tonight. After all, it should be an organic hog. Careful though, a wounded pig can be a very dangerous animal.
I’m so sorry, I have no clue how to answer your question about your predicament. Like the other guy said “I’d be eating pork chops”
That rotten swine!
Cut a one foot section of the vine with a razor at a 45 degree angle on one end and the same on the other. immediately place in water. find a very well lit area (preferably under a flourescent light). Place “cutting” in a vase filled with water.
Cutting should have leaves on it and contain at leats one growing node (intersection where new growth comes from).
Change the water daily (65 to 75 degree) should root in about a week. This wont bring back your baby, but at least you retain the genetics. If you did it once you can do it again. Or next time grow it indoors, cukes are a breeze under grow lights!
Cheers!
