Place "cutting" in a vase filled with water. Cutting should have leaves on it and contain at leats one growing node (intersection where new growth comes from). Change the water daily (65 to 75 degree) should root in about a week. This wont bring back your baby, but at least you retain the genetics. If you did it once you can do it again. Or next time grow it indoors, cukes are a breeze under grow lights! Cheers!
